Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 1 February 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Wolentra website at https://wolentra.com and the provision of repair and servicing services offered by Wolentra ("we", "us", "our").

By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our website or engage our services.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

2. Services

Wolentra provides coffee machine repair and servicing for domestic and commercial machines. The specific scope of work for any engagement will be agreed in writing (or by email) before work commences. We reserve the right to decline to carry out work at our discretion.

All diagnostic assessments are subject to our standard call-out and diagnostic fee, which will be communicated to you before any visit is confirmed. This fee is payable regardless of whether further repair work is authorised.

We will provide you with a written or electronic quotation for repair work following any diagnostic assessment. Work will not proceed beyond the diagnostic stage without your express authorisation. Where the actual cost of work is likely to exceed the quotation by more than ten percent, we will contact you before proceeding.

3. Bookings and Appointments

Appointments are scheduled subject to availability. We will make reasonable efforts to attend at the agreed time, but we do not accept liability for delays caused by factors outside our control, including traffic, weather, or prior job overruns.

If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, please notify us as soon as possible and no later than 24 hours before the scheduled time. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a charge to cover our costs.

If we are unable to access the premises at the agreed time due to circumstances within your control, we reserve the right to charge a failed visit fee.

4. Payment

Payment terms will be communicated at the time of quotation. For domestic customers, payment is typically required on completion of the repair. For commercial customers, we may agree invoice terms in advance.

We accept payment by bank transfer and by card. Specific payment methods accepted will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Outstanding invoices that are not settled within the agreed payment period may be subject to late payment charges in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, where applicable.

Title in any parts supplied remains with Wolentra until payment is received in full.

5. Parts and Components

Where replacement parts are required, we will use new, original, or equivalent-quality compatible parts as appropriate and will communicate the choice to you before installation. We do not use parts that we believe are unsuitable for the application.

We do not carry stock of all possible parts and may need to order components. Lead times for parts will be communicated where known. We do not accept liability for delays caused by third-party parts suppliers.

Parts that are ordered specifically for your machine are non-returnable once installed. If repair is not completed because the machine is collected before parts are fitted, you may be charged for parts ordered on your behalf.

6. Workmanship

We will carry out repair work with reasonable skill and care. In the event that a fault directly attributable to our repair work recurs within 90 days of completion, we will investigate and, where the fault is our responsibility, carry out remedial work at no additional charge.

This does not apply to faults caused by misuse, accidental damage, failure to maintain the machine in accordance with manufacturer guidance, or damage caused by further work carried out by a third party after our repair.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

7. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any loss or damage that was not foreseeable at the time of entering into the service agreement. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or business losses, including loss of income or profit, arising from the provision of our services.

Our total liability to you in connection with any service engagement shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that engagement.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other matter that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

Older machines may have pre-existing conditions that are not apparent on initial inspection. In such cases, we will communicate any findings and seek your instructions before proceeding. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions that were not identified at the time of the original assessment.

8. Customer Property

Machines left with us for repair or assessment remain your property. We will take reasonable care of equipment in our possession. We are not liable for loss or damage caused by events outside our control.

Machines that have been assessed but not collected within 30 days of notification that the assessment or repair is complete may incur a storage charge. Machines not collected within 90 days may, at our discretion, be disposed of in accordance with applicable law, with reasonable efforts made to contact the owner beforehand.
